BEST NATURAL BODY WASHES (FREE FROM SLS)
*OUR FOUNDER’S FAVOURITE*

These vegan-friendly shower washes gently care for your skin and the beauty of them is that a little goes a long way. With 3 dermatologically-tested varieties to choose from (one that cleanses, one that soothes and one that revives), they are suitable for all skin types, free from parabens, soap and colours, and have a very gentle formula. All are naturally rich in nourishing and soothing minerals such as Himalayan Salt, Epsom Salt and Dead Sea Salt which will particularly help skin prone to eczema or psoriasis. After use, pH is balanced and skin feels restored – soft, smooth and hydrated.

A wide selection of botanical, biodegradable body washes, including fruity, floral and fragrance-free; each formulated for a different purpose – relaxing, purifying, calming, soothing, invigorating, moisturising, revitalising, smoothing, glowing and softening. We love them because they cleanse and nourish the skin thanks to vitamin E and pro-vitamin B5, are cruelty-free, vegan-friendly, paraben-free, phthalate-free and have no synthetic colours. NB: They do not contain harsh sulphates but if your skin is super sensitive then we do recommend steering clear of these.

Offering a range of 100% natural fragrances, these vegan body washes cleanse and energise the skin without stripping it of its natural oils. Made with high-quality, natural ingredients and some of our favourite essential oils, each Faith in Nature body wash is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and paraben-free. Although we love them, we have found that these don’t last very long but do keep hold of your bottle(s) as you can refill them in many zero-waste shops.
BEST NATURAL BODY SCRUBS
*OUR FOUNDER’S FAVOURITE*

Frank Body Original Coffee Scrub
A 100% natural, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free product, Frank Body have included two natural exfoliating ingredients: Robusta coffee grinds – exfoliates while promoting blood flow and collagen production, and Sea Salt – has antibacterial properties which heals dry, flaky skin as well as fighting breakouts. The antioxidant, vitamin E also nourishes the skin, promotes healing and protects it from free radicals while Sweet Almond Oil hydrates the skin. This luxurious formula restores and leaves skin smooth and supple. Things can get a bit messy but it’s still lovely and worth a try!

Westlab Body Scrub & Bath Soak
As well as their shower washes, we’re also big fans of this two-in-one product containing natural mineral salts and skin-softening botanical oils which help to promote healthier skin. Frankincense and orange oils in the Dead Sea Scrub calm and relax the body, while the Epsom Salt Scrub revives, leaving skin refreshed and energised (thanks to the rose and may chang). There’s also a Himalayan Salt Scrub with lemongrass and juniper berry designed to detox and uplift. All 3 products are vegan-friendly and are free from microbeads.

With a thick, buttery consistency, this body balm hydrates and leaves the skin silky smooth. Finely ground rosehip seed powder buffs and refines skin while the blend of rosehip oil, sweet almond oil and beeswax nourishes and softens. We love that ingredients are biodegradable, it’s also free from microbeads and is suitable for vegetarians.
*TOP TIP*

If you don’t want to buy a separate scrub, then you could invest in a scrubbing mitt like this natural one from The Body Shop made from hemp, and use your usual body wash.
BEST NATURAL BODY CREAMS
*OUR FOUNDER’S FAVOURITES*

Body Oil by Sofia Latif
A nourishing and regenerating blend of seed and flower oils, our new Body Oil has arrived. Body oils aren’t just great for moisturising; the massaging action of applying them helps boost circulation too. Take the time to work in the product and make sure the oil is fully absorbed, patting away any residue with a towel.
*FOUNDER TOP TIP*
“I like to use a body oil before a shower as a pre-treatment when my skin is feeling dry. The oil helps soften any dry skin before applying a scrub. I then follow this with a moisturiser for smooth, nourished skin” – Sofia

Another founder favourite, we’ve found that Weleda’s Skin Food is ideal for dry/very dry skin. If you usually avoid body butters because of their rich texture, you might like to give this a try. It absorbs quickly into the skin leaving it feeling soft and hydrated with a beautiful aromatic fragrance of lavender and orange. The ingredients Pansy, Calendula and Chamomile soothe dry skin whilst the organic shea cocoa butter and coconut oil provides the nourishment. Free from parabens, SLS, fragrances and colourants, it’s also vegan-friendly.

Pai Comfrey & Calendula Calming Body Cream
This would be our pick if your skin is especially sensitive and reactive as it’s all about calming, soothing and hydrating skin. Comfrey is a healing plant which helps treat dryness and skin irritation and also has the added benefit of stimulating the growth of new skin cells. Calendula, which is extracted from marigold, also promotes skin healing and cell regeneration. As a whole, this cruelty-free body cream has powerful anti-inflammatory properties, a delicious scent of jasmine and orange peel oils and is formulated without parabens, perfumes and synthetic colours.

Trilogy Ultra Hydrating Body Cream
Trilogy’s offering is an intensive paraben-, perfume- and cruelty-free cream which absorbs instantly. The evening primrose, jojoba oil and rosehip oil within are all rich in omega 3, 6 and 9 so give a boost of hydration particularly to dry or sun-damaged skin. Sunflower oil and manuka honey soften and protect, liquorice extract brightens and mica leaves a slight shimmer, providing a fresh, natural glow.
